Nikon D5R DSLR Camera Concept

Now here is a pretty dope concept for a DSLR Camera. Here we have an awesome concept by Ned Mulka, presenting the concept for the all new “Nikon D5R Digital SLR Camera”. Definitely a change in the game for DSLR cameras if this was to go through production don’t you think?

Practitioners of professional photography know they are slaves to their bulky digital SLR camera. To capture the right shot at key moments, some would even don on a second camera. But all will be distant memories if camera makers take up industrial design student Ned Mulka‘s concept, the Nikon D5R Digital SLR Camera. Assuming the “R” as in “Rotation”, the mirror and image sensor are encased in a rotational housing. Thus, the Nikon D5R Concept assumes a lower profile. Minus the vertical grip and additional controls, it will be lighter too. Because of its smaller profile, photographers no longer have to contest one another for the best position. via – freshnessmag
